Cision is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Director to drive revenue growth and lead sales strategy for assigned accounts. As a trusted consultant, you will develop and sustain high-level relationships with clients' C-Suite executives, leaders, and stakeholders to understand their customers' brand, competition, and challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze and mitigate clients' business and service challenges.
- Lead by example within the department and mentor junior sales roles.
- Represent the company at industry events to develop market profile and grow the portfolio through proactive new business development.
- Execute all phases of the sales process, including client presentations, proposals, contract negotiations, and final close.
- Bachelor's degree in business or communications or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in sales account management across multidiscipline industries.
- In-depth knowledge and proven track record of success with SaaS sales and/or cloud methodology.
- Advanced analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
