Position Overview

The Bakery Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities within the bakery environment, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop bakery staff to maintain a skilled workforce.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules to optimize productivity.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and supply chain challenges.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of bakery personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage cash handling and oversee payroll processes.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance assessments for staff members.
  • Volunteer Management: Supervise office and volunteer staff as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school education is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months of relevant experience in a supervisory role within a bakery or similar environment.

Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, primarily in an English-speaking work environment.
