About the Role

OT Group is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our Technical Team. As part of this role, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers, assisting them with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, while continuously learning and growing in your IT career.

This is an in-office position at our location, requiring daily commuting to the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the primary point of contact for customers experiencing technical difficulties, providing timely and effective support via various channels.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and issues, ensuring seamless resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize technical expertise to diagnose and resolve problems using industry-standard tools and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all ticket events in our helpdesk system.
  • Assist in setting up and configuring technology equipment for our users, including computers, software, and peripherals.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Success Team to tackle complex issues and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as updates and backups, to ensure our IT infrastructure remains stable and secure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve our services.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with operating systems, including Windows, is essential, along with a solid understanding of basic networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of macOS and Linux is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and seek assistance when needed.
  • An education in IT, preferably with a College Diploma or University Degree.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and grow.
