Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Philthy Philly Cheesesteak and Poutinerie. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
    • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Monitor and maintain accurate records of food stock, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
    • Address customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, including sales, inventory, and labor costs.
    • Maintain accurate records of employee hours, attendance, and performance.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in a food service management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds. A valid food safety certification is an asset.
