Lead Liability Claims Specialist

Overview of the Role at Northbridge Financial:
As a Lead Liability Claims Specialist, you will join a proactive team that emphasizes meticulous attention to detail while ensuring an exceptional customer journey. The Casualty and Litigation division manages a diverse range of claims across multiple sectors, including Automotive, Commercial General Liability, Directors' and Officers', and Professional Liability claims. Our specialists are tasked with conducting thorough investigations, evaluating coverage responsibilities, and assessing damages while collaborating closely with external parties and legal representatives to bring claims to resolution.

If you excel in the following areas:
- Managing intermediate to complex claims, including those in litigation
- Verifying coverage and executing comprehensive liability investigations
- Compiling detailed file summaries for internal analysis, significant losses, and reinsurance purposes
- Effectively organizing a demanding daily workload
- Delivering an outstanding customer experience
And you possess:
- A degree in an Insurance-related field or equivalent
- Progress towards or completion of the CIP designation
- At least 5 years of experience in handling liability claims
- Familiarity with commercial lines is advantageous
- Proficient technical skills in MS Office Suite
- Strong communication abilities with Claimants, Brokers, and Legal Counsel
