Job Title: Fairmont Gold Lounge Attendant

Join our team at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier hotel in Ottawa, Canada, as a Fairmont Gold Lounge Attendant. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.

Responsibilities:
  • Offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests
  • Provide exceptional table service in the Fairmont Gold lounge
  • Prepare cocktails, coffees, teas, and other beverages for guests
  • Set up and break down food and beverage presentations in the lounge
  • Assist guests with food and beverage menu items, including knowledge of ingredients and preparation methods
  • Maintain the lounge's ambiance and cleanliness, ensuring a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for guests
  • Clear dishes from guest tables and maintain the cleanliness of the lounge and service areas
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests to ensure loyalty and repeat business
  • Work effectively with the culinary and stewarding departments to ensure seamless service
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage items
  • Adhere to all sustainability standards and initiatives
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service required
  • Smart Serve certification required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English and French
  • Professional presentation and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Bar tending skills an asset
