Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Adult Services and Wellbeing division as Team Supervisors. This role is essential for enhancing the health and wellbeing outcomes for the community we serve. If you are enthusiastic about advancing your career in Adult Social Care, this opportunity may be ideal for you.
Your Role:
As a Team Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our preventative approach to social care. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, encouraging the sharing of ideas and experiences to improve service delivery. Your primary focus will be on early intervention, prevention, and promoting wellbeing within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate effectively with the Council, partners, and voluntary agencies to ensure a cohesive approach to service delivery.
2. Provide line management to social workers and other qualified staff.
3. Lead case conferences, court attendance, and statutory reviews, ensuring a social care perspective is prioritized.
4. Develop expertise in specific areas of practice and lead initiatives in those areas.
What You Bring:
1. Evidence of ongoing professional development and adherence to current professional standards.
2. Comprehensive understanding of the financial aspects of commissioned care packages.
3. Strong decision-making skills with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
4. Relevant qualifications such as Practice Educator, AMHP, or BIA, or a commitment to achieve these qualifications within a specified timeframe.
5. Proven experience in safeguarding within an integrated care system.
About You:
To qualify, you must be a registered social worker with substantial post-qualification experience and knowledge of the Care Act 2014. You should possess additional qualifications such as Practice Education or Best Interest Assessor, or be willing to pursue these qualifications.
