Operations and Property Management Coordinator

We are pleased to present an opportunity for an Operations and Property Management Coordinator. This position is crucial in assisting the Operations Supervisor and significantly contributing to the growth of the organization. The primary duties of this role encompass:

  1. Facilitating the seamless execution of administrative functions.
  2. Overseeing service requests related to real estate and ensuring sufficient inventory of shipping materials and security supplies.
  3. Coordinating the reception and dispatch of goods in partnership with the operations team, ensuring accurate documentation.
  4. Leading and guiding a team of four personnel.
  5. Working alongside the Operations Supervisor to identify service providers and manage employee performance.
  6. Participating in various projects related to the unit.
  7. Managing real estate operations and logistics in collaboration with the Central Laboratory, including the planning and preparation of shipping materials and inventory oversight.
  8. Handling building-related responsibilities, such as the installation, relocation, or removal of equipment, in line with policies and operational requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school or a college degree with relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience, including at least 5 years in project and personnel coordination within real estate management or shipping and reception services.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in both French and English, in spoken and written forms, is beneficial for communication with external resources.
  • Attributes such as dynamism, strong interpersonal skills, active listening, autonomy, initiative, creativity, adaptability, organizational skills, analytical and synthetic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent time and priority management, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
