About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Manager to join our team at JLL. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties, including Galeries d'Anjou, Place Anjou, and Centre Jean-Talon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and problem-solving
  • Prepare and control operating and expense budgets, and perform the necessary analyses for presentation to the client
  • Take charge of complex recovery files, requiring discussions and negotiations with tenants, and carry out the analyses necessary for decision-making in favor of the property
  • Implement and optimize programs related to the operation of properties, including those related to tenant coordination, energy conservation, environmental management, emergency plans, and crisis management
  • Supervise ownership coordination activities, including compliance and monitoring of lease and contractual obligations, various lease clauses, rules, and procedures of the properties
  • Contribute to the establishment and implementation of strategies to increase sales and maximize revenues
  • Work collaboratively with all departments during special projects or problematic situations
  • Work with the Director of Marketing and the Manager, Specialty Leasing to select development programs and potential temporary tenants in line with the vision of the properties
  • Plan and optimize customer service experience, including service calls, tenant relations, and customer relations (complaint management)
  • Manage the human resources assigned to you and support the development and training of the staff under your responsibility
  • Contribute to the negotiation of permanent and specialty leases

Requirements

  • University degree required, preferably in administration or property management
  • Have a minimum of five to seven years of experience in a similar, industry-related role
  • Excellent communication skills, strong management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with others at all levels
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and multitask and balance priorities effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Initiative and very good leadership skills
  • Practical and resolute judgment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual in writing and spoken in French and English
