Our Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in the Durham region and Barrie. As a key partner and consultant for our restaurants, the successful candidate will work closely with owners and managers to drive business growth and improve operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a business consultant and coach to owners and managers on all aspects of their restaurants, including business and financial results, effective operations, team member engagement, and guest satisfaction.
- Review and analyze restaurant operating reports and audits, identifying areas for improvement and developing solutions to strengthen performance.
- Conduct regular financial reviews with owners and managers, providing guidance on financial management and business development.
- Ensure the successful implementation of new initiatives, such as product launches, technology upgrades, and process improvements, to drive sales growth.
- Represent the Tim Hortons brand and business at all times, promoting a positive image and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of operational experience with P&L responsibility, preferably in a national, franchise, or high-growth consumer or retail-based business.
- University degree in business, hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to establish and build effective relationships with owners, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
