Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Empress of India Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Implementation

Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure that the restaurant is running efficiently and effectively.

Financial Management

Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure that the restaurant's financials are accurate and up-to-date.

Staff Management

Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to ensure that they are meeting the high standards of the restaurant.

Inventory Management

Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the restaurant has the necessary supplies to operate efficiently.

Health and Safety

Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Marketing and Promotion

Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service to ensure that customers have a positive experience at the restaurant.

Requirements
  • Education

College/CEGEP degree in a related field such as hospitality or business.

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong organizational skills.

Work Environment

The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to handle heavy loads and work long hours, including overtime.
