Our state-of-the-art campuses in Oshawa and Whitby offer 145 programs, which include six honours bachelor's degrees and nine apprenticeship tracks, serving over 13,700 full-time post-secondary students and 2,300 apprenticeship learners. Additionally, more than 14,600 individuals engage in professional and part-time education. With a robust alumni network exceeding 110,500, DC maintains a global presence.

Durham College is in search of a skilled and enthusiastic professional who aligns with our dedication to excellence and student achievement. The Professional and Part-Time Learning (PPL) division is looking for a part-time facilitator to instruct the following online courses:
- Supply Chain Management
- Career Development for SCM Professionals
- SCM Planning and Scheduling
- SCM Execution & Control
- Integrated SCM
Key Responsibilities:
- Fostering an inclusive learning environment that respects diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
- Applying adult education principles to actively engage learners in the educational process.
- Utilizing educational technologies effectively to enhance learning and manage assessments.
- Designing curriculum that incorporates suitable strategies and tools for evaluating student performance.
- Ensuring course content remains current and relevant.
- Demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Collaborating effectively with students, program teams, and various stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience directly related to the subject matter.
- A Master's degree (or higher) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related business field. Additional qualifications in Education are advantageous.
- Experience teaching at the post-secondary level or in a business context, demonstrating the application of adult learning principles.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- A proven history of meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology to facilitate student learning and manage evaluations.
- A self-driven, independent worker who also thrives in a collaborative environment.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
- An understanding of the Ontario community college framework.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing relevant educational credentials and a demonstrated history of applicable work or teaching experience.
