  • Instruct lab courses CHEM3201 and CHEM3202: Spectroscopy 2 and Chromatography 2

Spectroscopy 2:

This course builds on prior knowledge and skills acquired in CHEM 3105. The emphasis is on analyzing spectroscopic data through problem-solving techniques and synthesizing information from multiple sources.

Chromatography 2:

This course examines the critical function of chromatography in various industries and regulatory frameworks. Topics include High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), and Ion Chromatography (IC), among others.

Key Responsibilities of Part-Time Faculty:

  • Foster an inclusive learning atmosphere for students from diverse backgrounds
  • Engage learners through adult education methodologies
  • Utilize educational technologies proficiently
  • Design relevant and up-to-date curriculum
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with stakeholders

Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree with professional credentials (Master's degree preferred)
  • At least five years of recent, pertinent work experience
  • Experience teaching at the post-secondary level
  • Background in applied research is advantageous
  • Competence in technology for educational support
  • Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning
  • Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders
  • Familiarity with the Ontario college system
