About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our Labour Relations team. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting our employees and management team in a complex unionized environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic HR guidance and support to management and employees on labour relations matters
  • Develop and implement HR programs and policies to promote a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Collaborate with the Labour Relations Specialist to resolve grievances and collective bargaining issues
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, including workplace conflicts and performance management
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership coaching initiatives
  • Roll out new HR programs and policies to ensure seamless implementation and adoption
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years specializing in Canadian Labour Relations
  • Proven track record of success in labour relations, employee relations, and HR program development
  • Excellent knowledge of BC and Canadian employment law
  • Strong leadership coaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
