  • Interpret product assembly drawings and technical specifications to generate accurate bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Research and identify components, suppliers, and viable alternatives based on quality, cost, and availability.
  • Establish efficient timelines for material delivery, optimize shop space utilization, and manage inventory flow to keep projects aligned with time and cost objectives.
  • Track engineering modifications and update BOMs and project budgets to reflect cost and time implications.
  • Evaluate supplier performance against service level agreements (SLA) and contract stipulations, addressing concerns promptly for effective resolution.
  • Notify project teams of supplier limitations that may hinder project and order delivery schedules.
  • Oversee component quality throughout the product assembly process.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance procurement workflows and documentation.
  • Exemplify professionalism and respect in all interactions with employees, customers, and suppliers, focusing on collaborative teamwork and results-oriented outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in supply chain management, business, engineering, or manufacturing operations.
  • Supply chain management accreditation is advantageous.

  • Detail-oriented with proven abilities in data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities, taking initiative, and working independently to achieve deliverables.
  • Proficient in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems for purchasing and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with Solidworks or Autocad is beneficial for this role.
  • Knowledge of global shipping and procurement practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.
