Role Overview: The Lead Procurement Specialist will spearhead the purchasing activities for a significant project, collaborating with multiple departments to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement processes. Key responsibilities encompass:

  • Acquiring and accelerating the delivery of both inventory and non-inventory items.
  • Establishing and nurturing partnerships with Suppliers and Subcontractors.
  • Working alongside Production Planners to uphold production timelines.
  • Formulating strategic purchasing agreements.
  • Executing Supplier evaluations to guarantee compliance with quality, delivery, and cost standards.
  • Overseeing invoice management and resolving quality-related issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Professional Purchasing Certification from PMAC.
  • Over 10 years of procurement experience in a relevant sector.
  • Proven expertise in contract negotiation and supply chain oversight.
  • Specific experience in sourcing components for Motor Graders.
