Position Overview

Are you passionate about providing exceptional nursing care? We are currently seeking a committed Licensed Practical Nurse who is dedicated to delivering empathetic patient support at Northern Health Authority.

In alignment with the core values and mission of our organization, the Licensed Practical Nurse in the Operating Room is responsible for delivering practical nursing services within a surgical setting as part of a cohesive surgical team engaged in various surgical procedures.

This role involves consulting, collaborating, and communicating with other surgical team members to ensure safe and effective surgical practices through scrubbing and circulating responsibilities, adhering to established standards and protocols.

Key responsibilities include pre-operative, operative, and post-operative tasks such as assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient care, as well as providing support to patients and their families.

Qualifications:
