Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated User Support Technician to provide exceptional assistance to our clients at GROW MORE IT SOLUTIONS INC. This role is essential in ensuring that users can effectively navigate their technological challenges.

Educational Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years
  • Alternatively, equivalent experience in a related field
Work Environment

The position is based in various settings, including:

  • Computer hardware or software retail/wholesale
  • Telecommunications sector
  • General office environments
  • Internet Service Providers (ISP)
Key Responsibilities

The User Support Technician will:

  • Assist users facing difficulties with their computer systems
  • Refer to user manuals, technical documents, and other resources to identify and implement solutions
  • Offer guidance and training to users based on their specific challenges
  • Maintain a log of problems and solutions for reference by other support analysts
  • Engage in the redesign of applications and software
  • Oversee the work of other technical support personnel
  • Provide support for business systems, networks, and internet issues
  • Set up equipment for user operations, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software
  • Conduct web server backup and recovery tasks
  • Deliver excellent customer service
Supervisory Responsibilities

The role includes supervising:

  • 1 to 2 support staff members
Transportation Requirements

Having a personal vehicle is necessary for this position.
