About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Whisky Johns bar & Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.

Food Preparation and Presentation

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Staff Supervision and Training

Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively.

Quality Control

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Requirements
  • Education and Certifications

A Safe Food Handling certificate is required for this role.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for a candidate who is a team player, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
