Job Description

The Financial Services Director for ROME GROUP will hold oversight of all financial matters impacting the organization's financial stability. This position holds a key role overseeing the agency's financial programs, revenue cycle management, grants management, fundraising, and donor support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversight and Management of key financial revenue including revenue cycle management, grants funding, and diversified funding sources.
  2. In coordination with the CEO and Board of Directors, develop a strategic financial plan for the agency.
  3. Conduct internal audits of all financial matters particularly around revenue cycle management and grants.
  4. Support monthly and year-end financial closing.

340B Programming:

  1. Lead all areas of the agency's 340B Pharmacy programming, including policy & procedure development.
  2. Oversight of Pharmacy contracts and TPA services.
  3. Auditing and monitoring of revenue in compliance with Federal guidelines.
  4. Lead interagency 340B team.
  5. Provide bi-annual staff training and education on 340B program.

Management Duties:

  1. Oversight and lead all matters relating to ROME GROUP 340B program.
  2. Manage key staff overseeing financial, 340B, and grants services.
  3. Manage all activities for 340B ensuring compliance with Federal guidelines.
  4. Work with accountant and department Manager and/or Director to ensure program budgets are reviewed and monitored.
  5. Engage departments in fund generating opportunities.
  6. Oversight of grant funds from multiple sources including federal, State, and foundation funding.
  7. Manage daily financial activities as required by program(s).
  8. Develop Policies & Procedures.

Audits:

  1. Coordinate and lead the process for 340B internal and external audits.
  2. Manage all federal, State, and local grant awards.
  3. Assist in the preparation for annual fiscal audits.
  4. Work with outside accounting firm to prepare and complete annual 990.
  5. Maintain confidentiality on all financial matters.
  6. Projects and other duties as assigned.

Board Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as a lead member of the Board of Directors Fiscal subcommittee.
  2. Provide CEO with outlines of budget findings and monthly reporting.
  3. Serve as the 340B liaison to all outside board and organizational contacts.
  4. Conduct all 340B reporting within and outside the financial report.
  5. Provide comprehensive direction to the CEO and Board.
  6. Present to the Board of Directors on the financial health of the organization as requested and needed.
  7. Maintain strong communication with CEO regarding all financial matters.

Qualifications:

A Master's degree in business administration, Non-profit management, or related field with direct experience in grants management, 340B program income oversight, revenue cycle management, and diversified funding sources. 5+ years of experience in health-related financial matters with specialty knowledge in 340B services is preferred.
