The Chief Medical Executive will serve not only as an internal leader but also as the representative of ROME GROUP to external stakeholders. Exceptional communication and negotiation capabilities will enhance collaborative efforts throughout the community. By aligning organizational priorities with the Board's vision, the Chief Medical Executive will ensure that the mission resonates throughout the organization. - Balance immediate and long-term funding requirements to secure organizational sustainability.
- Lead initiatives to diversify revenue sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships, individual contributions, and earned income.
- Develop and implement a capital campaign for facility enhancements and expansion projects.
- Create innovative fundraising strategies that align with ROME GROUP's mission and resonate with the healthcare innovation community.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, donors, partners, and community leaders.
- Oversee facility management and improvement initiatives.
- Enhance ROME GROUP's programs to attract and support a diverse array of healthcare startups.
- Facilitate collaborations between startups, corporations, and academic institutions.
The search committee is looking for candidates who have a proven track record in managing successful non-profit organizations and advocating for healthcare innovation.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in healthcare ecosystem development, incubator management, or related fields.
- Strong history in fundraising, grant writing, and financial oversight.
- An MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Exceptional skills in relationship-building and donor engagement.
