Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive business and market analysis utilizing online resources, business directories, and databases.
  • Assist in crafting compelling pitch presentations for potential clients.
  • Develop, update, and maintain financial and valuation models using MS Excel.
  • Support data collection, analysis, and the creation of Information Memoranda for mergers, acquisitions, and financing deals.
  • Leverage analytical skills for client data evaluation and report generation.
  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding client service outcomes.
  • Identify potential client sources and competitive markets, reporting findings to the President of Corporate Finance.
  • Source relevant research materials for client businesses, including internet resources, industry reports, and interviews.
  • Stay informed on market trends to evaluate current methodologies and compare research findings.
  • Review and refine existing research approaches as necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of qualitative and quantitative analyses based on research insights.
  • Summarize market and industry trends, providing both broad overviews and detailed conclusions.
  • Prepare technical analyses, including projections, forecasts, and models.
  • Identify competitive challenges and performance metrics at both macro and micro levels within target markets.
  • Produce, design, and compile precise and concise reports and correspondence.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service, addressing client needs and requests promptly and professionally.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline with proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
  • Actively pursuing or planning to pursue CPA, CFA, or CBV designations.
  • Experience in a professional services environment is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis and modeling is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
