Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Finance Senior Analyst to provide exceptional financial guidance and support to our management team. This full-time, permanent role is integral to our financial operations.

The Finance Senior Analyst will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial insights and comprehensive reporting, focusing on capital, operational costs, and revenue streams. Key responsibilities include ensuring precise budgeting, forecasting, and adherence to regulatory reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring compliance with corporate deadlines.
  • Investigate and resolve financial reporting discrepancies by reviewing general ledger accounts and proposing effective solutions.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare journal entries with appropriate documentation, including variance analyses for reporting periods.
  • Review and analyze intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate coding and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Implement and maintain accounting processes that comply with policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring robust internal controls.
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and contribute to quarterly reporting for corporate finance.
  • Develop expertise in financial systems, particularly Oracle Fixed Asset and Project modules, to enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Provide insights on accounting treatments under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and assist with regulatory filings.
  • Support the planning and coordination of annual budgets and forecasts, offering financial analysis to various business units.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • A Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) is required.
  • 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and large corporate financial processes.
  • Ability to work independently while also supporting team objectives.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Corporate Financial Systems, including Oracle and Adaptive.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly.
  • Experience in assessing compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to enhance process efficiencies and resolve issues effectively.

Additional Information

This position is classified under CSU52 with a competitive wage structure based on qualifications and experience. The role requires a commitment of 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
