Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Border Inn & Suites. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process room reservations, cancellations, and changes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms with precision.
  • Perform various clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Organized and reliable, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a front desk or customer service role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
