Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales relationships with existing customers, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan to expand our customer base and ensure a strong presence in the market.
  • Manage relationships with existing customers, playing a key role in developing and maintaining our company's image and reputation in the marketplace.
  • Cultivate and develop new relationships and partnerships with professional organizations to ensure program awareness and adoption.
  • Identify new sales opportunities through prospecting activities, including networking, prospecting, conducting on-site sales calls, and cold calling.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships.
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and strategies to execute solutions within our existing business model and channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (or additional experience in lieu of degree).
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of energy-efficient lighting and controls is required.
  • Experience selling and managing accounts in the energy industry, including lighting, electrical vehicle chargers, and Smart City Solutions.
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Valid driver's license.
