About the Role

Reporting to the Director, IDC Relations, the Business Partner Relationship Specialist serves as the primary point of contact between Intelcom and our Independent Delivery Contractors (IDCs). This role is crucial in fostering strong relationships, resolving concerns, and ensuring a collaborative environment for mutual success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between business partners and operations management to address concerns, resolve complaints impartially, and promote constructive problem-solving approaches. Investigate complaints and recommend improvements to policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives that prioritize high-quality services, focusing on value creation, revenue generation, and customer satisfaction for our partners.
  • Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulations, internal policies, and established procedures.
  • Maintain clear communication with partners by keeping them informed about new products, services, training opportunities, and other relevant updates.
  • Guide stakeholders towards a collaborative management approach, equipping them with the necessary resources and support to effectively fulfill their roles and responsibilities vis-à-vis our business partners.
  • Participate in daily operations at various stations within your assigned region.
  • Contribute to the development of compliance policies and procedures in collaboration with the IDC Compliance Lead.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Humanities, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining effective business partnerships.
  • Demonstrated expertise in conflict resolution and mediation techniques.
  • Knowledge of the logistics and transportation industry is preferred.
  • A passion for leadership, collaboration, and delivering exceptional value for Intelcom while fostering mutually beneficial relationships with our partners.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong service-oriented mentality with the ability to actively listen, understand concerns, and provide effective solutions.
  • Ability to research and apply new information quickly.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).
