Compassionate Nursing Professional

Under the guidance of the Team Lead or designated supervisor, you will deliver ongoing intensive outreach nursing services, case management, and support for mental health and substance use to assigned clients, whether they are in healthcare facilities, residential settings, or community environments.
You will design, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing community engagement and minimizing the need for re-hospitalization.Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with inter-professional teams, including community mental health and substance use staff, emergency services, Indigenous partners, and various community service organizations.
Work Schedule: Days - 08:00 to 19:09, Rotating
Compensation:
The current wage is: $59.52/hour

Qualifications:
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN.
- A minimum of two years of nursing experience in mental health and substance use programming or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Assessment and Intervention – Proven ability to conduct comprehensive client assessments and deliver nursing care through prescribed interventions.
- Communication – Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Critical Thinking – Ability to analyze and synthesize data from various sources to effectively solve problems.
- Client-Centered Care – Commitment to promoting client-focused care that respects diverse cultures and advocates for social justice.
- Trauma-Informed Care – Capacity to create supportive, trauma-informed healthcare environments through collaborative service delivery.
- Teaching – Skill in educating clients and others on essential health topics.
