Position Overview

Are you passionate about providing exceptional nursing care? We are looking for a committed Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) to deliver empathetic patient care within our organization.

In alignment with the core values and vision of Northern Health Authority, the RN or RPN will adhere to the professional standards and ethical guidelines established by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), while operating within a model focused on resident and family-centered care.

The RN or RPN will engage in various clinical environments, taking responsibility for the assessment, planning, execution, and evaluation of patient care.

Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, the RN or RPN will ensure that care is tailored to meet the individual needs of residents and their families, adapting to evolving healthcare requirements.

The RN or RPN will demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge base, grounding their practice in nursing science as well as relevant insights from other scientific and humanistic disciplines.


Compensation:
The wage for this position is set at $59.52/hour.

Qualifications

Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN.

Additional education in gerontology is considered an asset.
