Position Overview

In alignment with the established vision and values of our organization, the Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) operates in accordance with the professional practice standards and ethical guidelines set forth by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), while embracing a resident and family-centered care approach.

The RN or RPN functions across various clinical environments and is accountable for the assessment, planning, execution, and evaluation of resident care.

Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, the RN or RPN guarantees the provision of resident-centered care by assisting individual residents and their families in adapting to evolving healthcare needs.

The RN or RPN showcases a specialized knowledge base and grounds their practice in nursing science, complemented by insights from other scientific and humanistic disciplines.


Compensation:
The current wage is: $59.52/hour

Qualifications

Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant is required.

Post-basic education in gerontology is considered an asset.
