About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Spices of Punjab. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to prepare and present high-quality dishes.
    • Develop and implement effective kitchen procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
  • Culinary Expertise
    • Develop and maintain a menu that showcases the flavors and ingredients of East Indian cuisine.
    • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies to support menu development and kitchen operations.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that the kitchen has the necessary supplies and ingredients to meet demand.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that we are getting the best possible prices and service.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
    • Investigate and resolve any food safety or quality issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a strong culinary background and experience in a similar role are essential.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of East Indian cuisine.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of quality and service.
