About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Double PT Enterprises Ltd. as a Head Cook/Kitchen Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers, taking into account seasonal ingredients and dietary requirements.

Chef Supervision

Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Quality Control

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet health and safety standards and that food is prepared and presented to a high standard.

Staff Management

Recruit, train, and manage a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, waiters, and other support staff.

Financial Management

Manage kitchen budgets and ensure that we are operating within our financial means.

Requirements
  • Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.

Experience

At least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role is required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, with overtime required at times. The physical demands of the role include standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.

Personal Suitability

The ideal candidate will be dependable, flexible, and have a strong work ethic. They will also be able to work well in a team and have good time management skills.
