Sales Development Specialist

Essential Functions:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through warm marketing leads, proactive prospecting, live chat interactions, and inbound calls, while meeting designated activity targets and performance metrics.
- Utilize sales acumen, resourcefulness, and enthusiasm to effectively convey the Limelight value proposition, driving lead qualification and facilitating appointments between prospects and Limelight Sales Associates.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Limelight's unique offerings within the SaaS landscape.
- Work in partnership with Limelight's Global Business Development Executives and Sales Managers to identify and pursue qualified opportunities.
- Maintain precise and comprehensive records of leads, contacts, accounts, and sales activities within Limelight's Salesforce automation platform.
- Engage with the Marketing team to continuously enhance lead generation initiatives.
Experience and Education (minimums):
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Computer Science.
- Self-driven and goal-oriented.
- Resourceful with a positive and productive attitude.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation capabilities.
- Proven ability to effectively engage with business professionals, including IT, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and C-level executives.
- Demonstrated high activity sales experience, including significant call volume, pipeline expansion, and lead generation.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Familiarity with video streaming, content delivery services, digital marketing, interactive services, digital rights management, content management, web analytics, or web hosting is preferred.
- Experience with CRM software is advantageous.
