Operations, Pharma Specialist

Join DSV, a global leader in transport and logistics, as an Operations, Pharma Specialist in our Saint-Laurent, Quebec office. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth import and export of pharmaceutical products, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Operations, Pharma Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing routine to moderately complex transactions, including document preparation and traffic coordination for air and ocean modes.
  • Performing duties related to document preparation and traffic coordination with specialty knowledge around Pharmaceuticals.
  • Ensuring all shipments within control are compliant with the current Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Policy and the PharmaQMS.
  • Managing all locally controlled pharmaceutical and healthcare business partners and coordinating necessary training or qualification needs.
  • Handling (Pharma) shipments of key accounts and demonstrating operational excellence in doing so.
  • Supporting team members and providing guidance for operational processes, issues, documentation, and compliance.
  • Assisting Sales in compiling quotes and account implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from Sales to Operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • College courses in supply chain logistics, international transportation, or a related field of study (an asset)
  • Pharmaceutical certification, Pharma QMS (an asset)
  • CIFFA certification (an asset)
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient with MS Office applications
