Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

Kwality Sweets & Restaurant is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and train a team of 3-4 staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring it meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries and budget estimates, to ensure the efficient operation of the restaurant.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines. They will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
