Job Summary

Paper Excellence is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Human Resources Department in various administrative and operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Data Management
    • Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records, including organization charts, postings, leaves, accommodations, and discipline records.
    • Maintain department and employee information to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Benefits Administration
    • Administer compensation and benefit programs, ensuring they are administered appropriately and cost-effectively.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with external service providers to support benefits administration.
  • Recruitment and Hiring
    • Assist in recruiting employees by preparing job postings, offers of employment, and hiring documents.
    • Provide orientation for new hires and assist with the new employee indoctrination program.
  • HR Systems and Website Management
    • Manage and administer the Human Resources Department Website (internal and external).
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Participate in the development and communication of human resources business processes, policies, and programs.
    • Provide employee benefits services, facilitate problem-solving of employee concerns, and manage employee information.

Key Relationships

  • Reports on a line basis to the Human Resources Manager.
  • Relationships with internal stakeholders, including Managers, Superintendents, Supervisors, Salaried Employees, Union Executive Members, and Hourly Employees.
  • Relationships with external stakeholders, including Industry HR Representatives, Health & Welfare Plan Consultants/Carriers, and WorkSafe BC.
