Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team at HY 5 Beer Wine & Liquor Store. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales floor, managing inventory, and leading a team of sales associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Sales Team: Assign sales workers to duties, hire and train or arrange for training of staff, and supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers.
  • Merchandise Management: Order merchandise, authorize return of merchandise, and organize and maintain inventory.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell merchandise, resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Work Setting: Retail business with a focus on customer service and sales.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
