About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement to inform business decisions.
  • Staff Development: Provide training and development opportunities for sales staff, helping them to improve their skills and performance.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure that the store is maintained to a high standard, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Setting: Liquor and wine store
  • Supervision: 5-10 people
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player
