About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at HY 5 Beer Wine & Liquor Store. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and contributing to the overall success of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Merchandise Management: Order and manage inventory, including authorizing returns and resolving issues related to supply shortages.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell merchandise, prepare reports on sales volumes, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for sales associates, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Training and Development: Hire, train, and develop sales associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Work Setting: Retail business with a focus on customer service and sales.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions: Standing for extended periods, walking, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, and a team player.
