ABOUT THE POSITION

Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. is seeking a skilled HVAC Specialist to become a vital part of our Site Services and Infrastructure team. This role will report directly to the Site Services Supervisor.

The HVAC Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and upkeep of all HVAC systems and refrigeration units within our operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting routine preventative and predictive maintenance on all relevant HVAC systems;
  • Installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines;
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in all work environments;
  • Keeping accurate records of ozone depletion and ensuring compliance with company protocols;
  • Actively contributing to the development and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules;
  • Supporting departmental initiatives while ensuring the safe operation of all relevant systems;
  • Reporting safety concerns to the supervisor for immediate resolution;
  • Fostering a culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid 313A Refrigeration License or equivalent certification;
  • Preferred G1 Gas Technician certification or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial, commercial, or mining environment;
  • Experience with computerized HVAC systems and troubleshooting is an asset;
  • A valid G2 Driver's License;
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices;
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills.
