Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team at TalentBurst, an Inc 5000 company. As an Energy Efficiency Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping us deliver a residential energy affordability program in British Columbia.

About the Role: As an Energy Efficiency Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating residential homes to recommend energy-saving upgrades, advising participants on energy-saving tips, and installing energy-saving products. You will work closely with residents to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations to help them reduce their energy consumption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate residential homes to recommend energy-saving upgrades, including new appliances, insulation, heat pumps, and high-efficiency gas furnaces, in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Advise participants on energy-saving strategies and provide personalized recommendations to help them reduce their energy consumption.
  • Install energy-saving products, such as light bulbs and aerators, to help residents reduce their energy usage.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in residential construction, with a focus on energy efficiency and building science.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel overnight and seasonally, with flexible options provided.
  • Customer service experience and strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of building science and home inspection principles is an asset.
  • Experience with construction and building envelope courses, HVAC systems, and F280 knowledge is also an asset.
