E-commerce Merchandising Lead

At Startech, we are seeking an E-commerce Merchandising Lead who will be instrumental in enhancing product visibility and performance throughout the customer engagement process, from the initial interest to the final purchase. Your primary objective will be to boost market presence, attract a diverse customer base, and elevate sales across our partner platforms in Germany and the broader EU region.

As the E-commerce Merchandising Lead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and refining product selections to optimize sales and profitability.
  • Formulating and implementing impactful merchandising strategies to enhance visibility and drive conversions.
  • Assessing and improving critical merchandising factors such as pricing and content to enrich the customer experience.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to monitor and report on the effectiveness of merchandising strategies.
  • Conducting market analysis and evaluating partner opportunities to uncover growth potential.
  • Executing advertising and promotional initiatives to amplify revenue and expand market share.
  • Performing regular performance reviews to assess product success and modify strategies accordingly.
  • Partnering with the merchandising team to prioritize testing and experimentation for actionable insights.
  • Ensuring alignment and effective execution of revenue strategies by collaborating with various teams across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in digital merchandising, product management, or a related area.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a background in sales and market analysis.
  • A proven history of driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
  • Expertise in e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and merchandising tools.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
