Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Meltwich Food Co. as a key member of our kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation, taking into account dietary requirements and customer preferences.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Staff Training and Development: Provide comprehensive training to kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques, as well as safety protocols and procedures.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of kitchen facilities and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Supply Chain Management: Source high-quality ingredients and supplies from reputable vendors, negotiating prices and terms to ensure the best value for the company.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of kitchen activities.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment inventory, as well as staff training and development.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Work Setting: Restaurant
