Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and sustain security frameworks and infrastructure.
  2. Promote security awareness across the organization and enable users to perform their tasks securely without adding unnecessary barriers.
  3. Investigate and assess emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and risks, and propose effective mitigation strategies.
  4. Analyze data from security tools and software, providing comprehensive reports on findings.
  5. Collaborate with development teams to establish and execute corrective measures to enhance security posture.
  6. Partner with cyber analysts and security professionals to create threat models, detection mechanisms, incident response protocols, and maintain tools that enhance security intelligence.
  7. Oversee endpoint detection and response (EDR), DNS security, and vulnerability management systems.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security-focused role.
  2. Proficient in identifying security vulnerabilities and formulating effective remediation plans.
  3. Ability to engage collaboratively across technical and business divisions, advocating for security best practices, policies, and procedures.
  4. Strong communication abilities.
  5. Extensive knowledge of enterprise-level security technologies, including EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, incident response, PKI, user behavior analytics, SSO, IAM, and Privileged Access Management.
  6. Experience in generating reports and dashboards, with proficiency in standard SQL.
  7. Demonstrated skills in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
  8. Experience in developing infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  9. Hands-on security expertise with cloud service providers such as AWS and GCP.
  10. Familiarity with Google Workspaces and Amazon Workspaces.
  11. Understanding of development processes and tools such as Git and Jira.
  12. Willingness to accommodate US EST working hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, etc.).
  2. Experience with tools such as Nucleus, Splunk, Snowflake, Crowdstrike, Umbrella, Rapid 7, and Cisco Attack Surface Management.
