Job Description:

Job Title: Security Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Security Operations Coordinator to join our team at Paladin Security. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the deployment of security staff, handling dispatch duties, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Security Staff Scheduling: Update and maintain security staff schedules as changes arise during shifts, and fill shifts as vacancies arise.
  • Dispatch Security Staff: Answer calls received by hospital staff, security staff, and the general public, and dispatch security staff accordingly.
  • Communicate with Clients and Security Staff: Communicate information to clients and security staff using telecommunications systems and equipment.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Provide information to staff as requested regarding additional shifts, coverages, and shift availability/locations.
  • Update Management: Consistently update management with accurate daily open shift logs.
  • Schedule Optimization: Strategically plan schedules to utilize resources effectively and efficiently to avoid unnecessary overtime.
  • Work Schedule Management: Create, update, and modify work schedules for security guards within Paladin Security for Ottawa and Kingston.

Requirements:

  • Working Knowledge of the Security Industry: A working knowledge of the security industry is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Superior Customer Service Skills: Superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure.
  • Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Regulations: Working knowledge of ESA, Human Rights, and Labour Relations.
