Job Overview

Paladin Security is committed to providing exceptional service to our clients and communities. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Security Operations Coordinator. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our security services, including dispatching and scheduling security staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with clients and security staff using various telecommunications systems and equipment

• Answer calls from hospital staff, security staff, and the general public, and dispatch security staff accordingly

• Collaborate with police, fire department, and EMS as needed

• Update and maintain security staff schedules, filling shifts as vacancies arise and strategically planning schedules to utilize resources efficiently

• Provide information to staff regarding additional shifts, coverages, and shift availability/locations

• Consistently update management with accurate daily open shift logs

Requirements

• Working knowledge of the security industry is an asset

• Proficient in MS Office Suite

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• Superior customer service skills

• Ability to work under pressure and independently as part of a team

• Working knowledge of ESA, Human Rights, and Labour Relations
