Job Responsibilities

  • Manage equipment delivery and collection for the site
  • Prepare and submit daily reports
  • Escort patients to their designated hospital rooms
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to package recipients
  • Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols
  • Respond to various incidents
  • Document incidents through report writing
  • Investigate routine occurrences
  • Screen patients and visitors while controlling contraband
  • Oversee the Forensic Monitoring Station
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • First Aid & CPR - Level C certification from an approved provider
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License (G)
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum double vaccination)
  • Immunization records for Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella, and TB Skin Tests (Steps 1 & 2)
  • Must be clean-shaven to comply with N95 Mask Fit Test requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience is required
  • At least 1 year of security experience is mandatory
  • Experience in healthcare or healthcare security is an asset
  • Must provide certifications in Stay Safe
  • Those lacking certifications may enroll in Paladin's Stay Safe training program prior to onboarding
