Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of the Clinical Informatics team, this role collaborates with diverse teams and stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and support clinical leaders and end users in optimizing Clinical Informatics (Connect Care).

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate direct patient care by tracking quality indicators and essential metrics within Connect Care.
- Collaborate closely with frontline teams to enhance compliance, thereby improving patient care and safety.
- Assist in managing, prioritizing, and monitoring Connect Care processes and modifications, including system downtimes.

Stakeholder Engagement:
The Lead Clinical Informatics Consultant will actively engage with site and program stakeholders to continuously enhance the quality and reliability of clinical information.

Clinical Information Systems Oversight:
This role serves as the primary representative for the site/program concerning all aspects related to Clinical Information Systems (CISs) and their influence on clinical operations.

Project Leadership:
The consultant will spearhead various improvement initiatives that are influenced by or dependent on CISs, ensuring that the clinical priorities of the site/program are effectively supported by the implemented systems.

Reporting and Decision-Making:
In collaboration with operational leaders, the consultant will oversee the dissemination and utilization of clinical information for informed decision-making and performance evaluation.

Stakeholder Liaison:
The Lead Clinical Informatics Consultant will act as the primary contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that services align with the needs of service users through ongoing evaluation and assessment of service effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in a health-related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting characterized by significant size, complexity, and diversity.
- Proven experience in establishing and nurturing positive relationships with key stakeholders to foster strong customer relations and facilitate organizational change.
- Demonstrated proficiency in analytical and evaluation methodologies for quality enhancement and benefits realization.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant health information standards and the interdependencies among various health information systems.
- Experience in educating adult learners.
