Opportunity Overview:

In this role, you will collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to provide essential support to operational leaders and end users, focusing on the enhancement of Clinical Informatics (Connect Care). Your efforts will directly influence patient care by tracking quality indicators and key metrics within the Connect Care framework, while working closely with frontline teams to enhance compliance and elevate patient safety standards. You will assist in managing, prioritizing, and monitoring Connect Care processes and modifications, including system downtimes.

Role Description:

As the Senior Consultant for the Clinical Informatics program, you will engage with site and program stakeholders to perpetually enhance the quality and reliability of clinical information. You will serve as a pivotal representative for the site/program regarding all aspects related to Clinical Information Systems (CISs) and their impact on clinical operations. Your leadership will extend to various improvement initiatives that are influenced by or dependent on CISs, ensuring that the clinical priorities of the site/program are effectively supported by the utilized CIS.

Together with operational leaders, you will oversee the reporting and dissemination of clinical information, which is vital for informed decision-making and performance assessment. You will act as the primary liaison for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that clinical and accreditation standards are upheld, while also evaluating and assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of the services provided to meet the needs of service users.

A proven understanding of analytical and evaluation methodologies for quality enhancement and benefits realization. Comprehensive knowledge of pertinent health information standards, as well as the interrelationships and dependencies among various health information systems. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities are essential. Experience in delivering presentations to convey information or facilitate knowledge transfer is required. Proven experience in instructing adult learners and leading care teams or providing direct patient care is necessary.
