Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at The Real Estate Centre Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our accounting department, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and providing technical guidance to team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in accounting, with a minimum of 3-4 years in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including financial reporting and analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Work Schedule:35 hours per week.
