Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic, diagnostic, and technical respiratory therapy services to patients in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory conditions and develop effective treatment plans to improve their health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal treatment results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory therapy techniques and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding of treatment plans and progress.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Manitoba Association of Respiratory Therapists (MARRT) is required.
  • Entry-to-practice academic credential in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited Canadian program or a MARRT-approved equivalent is required.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training is required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
